As marketing continues for Davpart's The United BLDG project, information continues to emerge about the mixed-use office and condo tower coming to the northeast corner of Dundas and University in Downtown Toronto. Recently revised from 54 storeys down to 52, with an unchanged total height that maximizes ceiling heights for units, the B+H Architects-designed tower will incorporate the heritage Maclean Publishing Company/Maclean-Hunter Building at 481 University Avenue along with adjoining existing buildings into its base, with ERA Architects serving as heritage specialists.

The tower's planned 759 condo units will be anchored to the intersection with over 220,000 ft² of office space, nearly 40,000 ft² of retail space, and an enhanced TTC subway entrance, while residents will have access to several amenity spaces spread across five different levels of the building. The amenities are grouped by category, including Services, Entertainment, Wellness, and Work and Study-Focused areas.

On the ground floor, residents and visitors will get a first taste of the Tomas Pearce Interior Design-appointed interiors with the selection of Service-based spaces. These include a lobby with a 24/7 concierge service, along with parcel storage, the mail room, and a dog run.

The next amenities are found on the 10th floor, where residents will find a mix of Entertainment spaces, including a party room with kitchenette, a lounge and fireplace area, a Wellness space—a fitness centre—as well as one of the building's two Work and Study-Focused amenities, a shared co-working area dubbed “IdeaSpace” that provides a quiet environment and plenty of seating and table options.

A mix of Entertainment amenities is planned for the 11th floor—including a theatre, a sports lounge with billiards tables, a video gaming lounge, and a golf simulator—while it will also feature the second Work and Study-Focused space—a library—as well as a management office.

A mix of Wellness-Focused spaces will be found on the 13th and 14th floors. On level 13, an indoor/outdoor pool and lounge area with hot tubs will open out onto an outdoor courtyard. One level above, the pool and lounge area will be served by a pair of change rooms as well as sauna and rain rooms.
