The experience of driving the Gardiner Expressway's stretch through Downtown Toronto has changed quite a bit in recent years, as new developments form a growing high-rise canyon around the elevated artery. Today's Daily Photo, captured by Forum contributor G.L.17, shows a view driving eastbound on the Gardiner surrounded by the towers of the South Core area, including the new 16 York office tower which recently topped out at 32 storeys, just north of the highway.
