Last month, we were given a sneak peek at the presentation centre for Aoyuan International's M2M Condos, a multi-tower Wallman Architects-designed community set to replace Newtonbrook Plaza at Yonge and Cummer in North York. The on-site centre is now selling suites the community's second tower, known as T1, and includes an immersive model suite—appointed by Aoyuan’s Toronto office in collaboration with Bates Design—showing off the various features and finishes that await future residents.

Visitors enter the suite via an extra-wide corridor, large enough for full-sized furnishings. From there, the suite branches off into a main living area with a kitchen, dining space, and a living room, as well as three bedrooms, surrounded by a life-sized mock-up of the tower's balconies. Below, the main living area's floor-to-ceiling glazing offers a glimpse of the balconies, including a drone-captured photo backdrop featuring an accurate representation of the surrounding views.

Just out of view to the left in the image above, the suite's kitchen includes features like integrated stainless steel or cabinetry-covered appliances, stone countertops, tile backsplash, under-cabinet lighting, and soft-closing cabinet doors.

One feature in the suite's kitchen is a pull-out countertop placed below the microwave, offering additional food prep space, available in select suites.

Each of the three bedrooms in the suite are decorated to display different looks. The master bedroom—which comes with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet—features a mix of modern and traditional finishes.

One the other bedrooms, adjacent to the living room, includes an electrochromic glass wall that can be changed from translucent to transparent at the flip of a switch, giving privacy while maximizing natural light in the space. Marketed as M2M Switchable Smart Glass, the feature is available in select suites with interior bedrooms.

A peek into one of the bathrooms (pardon the unavoidable cameo!) offers a glimpse of features including dual sinks. All suites at M2M T1 will feature Kohler toilets and fixtures.

While condo suites typically include compact washers and dryers housed in laundry closets, the M2M T1 model suite includes a laundry room with 27” efficient washing machine and dryer.
