At the corner of Confederation Parkway and City Centre Drive is the next phase of The Daniels Corporation's 'City Centre' community in Downtown Mississauga. Designed by Rafael + Bigauskas, the Wesley Tower project will introduce a pair of high-rise towers to the growing community. Replacing a surface parking lot, the development will bring additional density to an area decreasingly characterized by the last decade's abrupt mix of vacant lots and new-build towers.

Reaching a height of 40 storeys, the taller of the two towers is the first to enter marketing. Both towers will rise above a rectilinear brick-accented podium, which will be shared between the two buildings. Above the podium, the tower is designed with slightly more geometric variety. Balcony glass smooths the tower's edges, while the southwest corner—which is left unwrapped—rises to a spire above the mechanical penthouse levels.

Adding a new high-rise presence to the Daniels Corp's 23-acre Mississauga City Centre community—which has been in development since the early 2000s—the project will bring additional density to the city's nascent but quickly growing core.

While details of the project—including unit sizes and prices—are still forthcoming, the complex will include amenities such as a gym, communal terrace, co-working spaces, and children's play areas. The Wesley Tower will feature interiors by figure3 Interior Design

We will return with updates as more details about the project emerge. In the meantime, additional information and images can be found in our database file for the project, linked below.
