Launched late last year, Opearl Developments' Sail Condos is contributing a conspicuous architectural presence to North York's Sheppard Avenue East. With sales now underway, the developers are engaging potential buyers through a series of events highlighting the distinctly shaped tower. This month, architect Keith Loffler will be on hand to provide insight to the building's design, with a presentation and Q & A scheduled for Saturday, June 18th.

Now a partner with Keith Loffler McAlpine Architects, Loffler previously worked with acclaimed Canadian architect Arthur Ericsson, contributing to well-known projects including the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC, and Toronto's own Roy Thomson Hall. With the 18-storey, 180-unit Sail Condos set to become a distinct presence in the local skyline, Loafer's remarks will offer a window into the design rationale that shaped the project.

Held from 12-4 PM, the June 18th event will be held at Sail Condos' on-site sales centre at 2933 Sheppard Avenue East. Alongside the architects' remarks, Sail's three-bedroom "Port" unit continues to take centre stage as June's 'suite of the month,' held over from May. The family-friendly 976 ft² unit features also two full bathrooms and a relatively spacious balcony, accessible from the open living-dining space.
