Residents continue to replace construction workers as retail units begin to open their doors in and athletes' housing is converted into condominium suites in Toronto's West Don Lands community. What was originally laid out as the Athletes Village for the 2015 Pan Am Games is now the city's newest neighbourhood, offering a pedestrian realm of unprecedented scope, with easy access to the city centre. As units in the development continue to take in new residents, other spaces within buildings like DundeeKilmer's Canary Park Condominiums continue to take shape.

Residents entering the KPMB and Page + Steele / IBI Group-designed building will be greeted by a double-height lobby appointed with natural stone and wood veneer finishes, with interiors by Studio Munge. The space will offer an inlaid stone fireplace, lounge space, and a 24-hour concierge service.

The neighbourhood puts a focus on health and wellness, with ample cycling infrastructure, walkable streets, and lifestyle-oriented retailers and restaurants. The healthy lifestyle being promoted is complemented by Canary Park's own fitness centre, featuring cardio, weight, and aerobics equipment as well as steam rooms and a yoga studio with hardwood flooring.

The project offers two separate party rooms on the 2nd and 11th levels that can be reserved by residents, both of which offer a full catering kitchenette and dining area as well as lounge seating.

The 11th floor party room features similar finishes and ambiance, while also boasting impressive views to the west which overlook the Toronto skyline. The rendering below depicts the floor to ceiling glazing and an attached outdoor terrace, giving residents plenty of opportunity to take in the panoramic views.

The 11th floor also offers an outdoor pool and terrace lounge. Residents using this space will be treated to sweeping views from Corktown Common park to the east to the Toronto skyline to the west, sure to make this a popular spot within the building during the warmer months.
