We have been closely following the finishing stages of construction at Harhay Developments and Carttera Private Equities' oneeleven Condos, a 17-storey, Core Architects-designed condominium development in Toronto's hip King West neighbourhood. We have already previewed the development's model suites, and residential lobby, and today—following looks at Musée and the King Portland Centre, two other nearby projects—we are returning for a preview of oneeleven's amenity spaces.
Residents of the project's 255 units will have access to a selection of amenities in the southeast corner of the podium's sixth floor, appointed by interior designers II BY IV DESIGN. The main lounge and party room will feature a kitchenette, a fireplace, and ample seating, giving residents an intimate environment to unwind or entertain guests.
The space is still in the process of coming together, with drywall now in place and the first design touches recently installed. Wooden strips now frame the site of the space's modern fireplace.
Installation of the amenity space's lighting fixtures and display wall is also well underway, with both track lighting and hanging overhead fixtures visible in the image below.
The kitchenette is also a work in progress, with cabinetry now partially installed and appliances soon to show up.
The indoor space leads out to a wraparound multi-purpose outdoor terrace with intimate views of the surrounding King West neighbourhood. In between two large poured-concrete planters, the space will be anchored by an elongated fire pit surrounded by seating.
Additional information and renderings on oneeleven condos can be found in the project's dataBase file, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion? Check out the associated Forum threads, or leave a comment using the field provided at the bottom of this page.
