Only a couple months after the launch of Tridel's Form Condos in Downtown Toronto, the mid-rise condominium development is already over 95% sold out. Set to rise just south of Will Alsop's iconic Sharp Centre for Design—or 'tabletop'—at OCAD U, sales of the architectsAlliance-designed 14-storey building have progressed quickly. Of the 190 suites, only a few units now remain, with 5 layouts still available.

The aesthetically distinctive building will feature interiors by U31, with amenities including a gym, party room, and 24-hour concierge. A new public space will also be created south of the building fronting Stephanie Street, while Phase 2 of the project will see an art gallery built between the condominium and the Sharp Centre to its north. The project will include landscaping by The MBTW Group / Watchorn Architect.

Form Condos will join a dynamic and growing part of the city. Immediately northwest of the site, Grange Park is in the midst of a large-scale revitalization, while OCAD University is also set to undergo an ambitious renovation and expansion project. Across McCaul Street to the east, meanwhile, the office building at 35 McCaul is about to retrofitted with a contemporary 3-storey addition.

In the coming weeks, we will return with a look at the project's design evolution. In the meantime, make sure to check out our associated dataBase file for more information.
