As The Barrington Condominium Flats gets set to add 18 storeys of new residential density to the increasingly vibrant area of Bathurst and St. Clair West, the Lash Group and Goldman Group project has been attracting significant interest from buyers, with several suite designs already sold out. With many of the smaller, investor-friendly suites of the London Collection spoken for, we bring you a look at The Barrington's Knightsbridge Suites, which offer more spacious, family-friendly condo living in Toronto's desirable Midtown.

The Richmond Architects-designed building's Knightsbridge suites range in size from 734 to 2,201 square feet, the two and three-bedroom units provide a comfortable alternative to some of Downtown Toronto's smaller suites. Featuring 9' ceilings, private balconies, and floor-to-ceiling windows, The Barrington's units are designed to create an airy and open ambiance, emphasizing the relatively generous suite sizes.

In addition, the British-inspired interiors will feature solid wood entry doors, with antique nickel accents also serving as discrete accents to hardware installation. The subtly old-world decor element lends the suites a note of character, while in-unit laundry, stainless steel appliances, and individual suite control for heating and cooling, provide modern conveniences.

Taking a closer look at some of the suite layouts, an 860 square foot unit two-bedroom unit (featuring an additional 115 sq ft of balcony space) is centred around an open shared living/dining space (above). A sense of privacy is created by placing the two bedrooms on opposite ends of the unit, while the suite's two balconies provide ample outdoor space, with the shared space directly facing out onto both.

On the larger end, The Barrington's three-bedroom + den penthouse suites all come in at over 2,150 square feet, featuring five balconies each. Once again, an open concept living/dining area forms the central space of the 2,201 square foot unit seen above, with the master bedroom—which boasts its own private living space—similarly separated from the smaller sleeping spaces.

Finally, a 927 square foot two-bedroom + den unit (above) is configured with similar principles in mind, underlining the project's design aesthetic, which combines private layouts with an inviting shared living area, while maximizing outdoor space.

At ground level, the project will feature a retail space, bringing vibrancy to the Bathurst streetscape while providing a new neighbourhood amenity. For residents, The Barrington will feature a range of amenities, including an outdoor lounge, billiards room, and a multipurpose event space outfitted with a catering kitchen.
