New highrises mean new angles to capture a changing city. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by guyswhotravel, we are shown the view from The Met, a 43- and 33-storey condominium development on Carlton Street, just east of Yonge. Captured yesterday morning at sunrise, this view faces north towards a distant and increasingly vertical Bloor-Yorkville skyline. At the centre of this growing skyline and the tallest building in view is the 76-storey One Bloor East - now in the process of topping out at Yonge and Bloor.
