The early success of ELAD Canada's master-planned Emerald City community has already brought three towers and many new townhomes to the Don Mills and Sheppard area of North York, and a fourth tower is now under construction. As the Parkway Forest community continues to revitalize, Emerald City is set to grow yet again with the coming launch of a fifth condominium tower overlooking greenspace, appropriately named Fifth on the Park.

Designed by WZMH Architects, Fifth on the Park will rise 24 storeys, inclusive of a three-storey podium. This tower is set to rise immediately adjacent to the community's fourth tower, The Colours of Emerald City, the site for which is currently being excavated to the south of Emerald City's first three phases. The neighbouring towers will share amenity space with interiors by renowned II BY IV DESIGN, including a lounge and dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, and an expansive outdoor patio with outdoor dining area.

The project will feature several more amenity spaces, including an indoor pool, hot tub, His and Hers change rooms with saunas, a yoga room and fitness room, and even a karaoke/theatre room.

Another notable amenity is the old-school games centre, where residents will enjoy classic arcade-style video games and ping-pong, a space sure to appeal to Gen-Xers and millennials.

At ground level, Fifth on the Park will offer a modern lobby-lounge space that features WiFi and a double-sided fireplace.

The indoor amenities will be complemented by ample outdoor amenities in neighbouring Parkway Forest Park and Forest Manor Park, and in fact residents will be just across the street from the sparkling new Parkway Forest Community Centre, which just opened. The facility offers a full-size gymnasium, weight room, dance studios, running track, craft and meeting rooms, youth lounge, commercial teaching kitchen, YMCA-run daycare centre, and a rooftop garden. This impressive neighbourhood amenity will be joined by a new aquatic centre and outdoor pool, currently slated to open in Fall of 2016.

Prices at Fifth on the Park start from the mid $200,000s. You can learn more about the development by visiting our dataBase file, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion? Check out the associated Forum threads, or leave a comment using the space provided at the bottom of this page.
