Construction of Tridel's Avani has reached a major milestone, as the first of the project's twin Graziani + Corazza Architects-designed condominium towers has topped off at its final height of 35 storeys in the master-planned Metrogate community near Highway 401 and Kennedy Road. When we last checked in on the project some weeks ago, the tower stood just shy of topping off with just one residential level left to pour at that time. Since then, the tower has topped off, while the building's cladding has risen another seven levels, now reaching the 23rd floor.

To highlight the impressive pace of growth Avani has displayed over the course of the summer, we turn to an animated GIF that shows the site's progression between late-June and today. Back at the end of June, Avani stood 23 storeys tall. The project would grow another seven levels by the end of July, plus another four by the end of August, topping off in early-September.

The completed development and follow-up phase Avani2, now in sales, will join Ventus at MetrogateSolaris at Metrogate, and multiple townhouse blocks in the master-planned Metrogate community. In addition to the central park that serves as the heart of the community, residents at Avani and Avani2 will have access to a selection of amenities at 'Club Avani' in the complex's shared podium.

Club Avani will offer residents a fitness centre, a Yoga studio, steam rooms, a fireplace lounge, a private dining room with a prep kitchen, a billiards lounge, a theatre, and a large party room a bar area.
