In the short time since sales launched for First Avenue Properties’ W Towns, strong sales have meant that the development in the Weston Village area of Toronto has already reached the 50% sold mark. The new urban townhouse development will bring 48 new homes to Weston Road north of Lawrence, divided into three blocks of 16 units. Starting at $399,900, units at W Towns will range in size from 1,300 to 1,330 square feet, with 3 and 3.5 bedroom models being offered.
Designed by architect Patrick Markus Luckie of pml.A, the dark brick-clad townhome development makes use of white balcony floor plates and cornices as accents, while large planting beds will provide a shot of colour and softness at ground-level.
All units at W Towns include 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, and offer exterior features like aluminum sliding patio doors and low maintenance vinyl windows, while the interiors feature 9 foot high main floor ceilings, kitchens with laminate counter tops, and premium appliance packages. Each unit will offer two separate balconies.
Residents at W Towns will enjoy landscaped grounds and green spaces in place of the amenities commonly offered in condominium developments. This translates to lower maintenance costs for residents, though many parks along the Humber River and the nearby Weston Golf & Country Club will give the development's occupants plenty to do in the neighbourhood. In addition to neighbourhood amenities like parks and green space, W Towns will be situated in close proximity to the Weston GO and UPX station, while highways 401 and 400 are just a short drive away.
With the project now half sold, construction of W Towns is anticipated to begin this Summer, with occupancy slated for Summer 2016.
