Summer kicked off with some warm sunny weather this past weekend, providing the perfect conditions for an outdoor yoga session in Brookbanks Park, hosted by The Ravine, a new condominium development by Urban Capital and ALIT Developments, planned for the York Mills and Don Valley Parkway area. Interested purchasers and members of the community met on Saturday at The Ravine's presentation centre, located at 1213 York Mills Road, just east of the DVP, where they were treated to free yoga towels, and organic cold-pressed juice courtesy of Greenhouse Juice.

After getting acquainted with the presentation centre, guests were introduced to Brookbanks Park, located to the immediate south of the master-planned community's future 29-storey, Rafael + Bigauskas Architects-designed first phase. The tranquil environment of Brookbanks Park will be a focal point of the new community, perfect for impromptu walks as well as programmed events such as this weekend's "Yoga in the Park".

The event also provided us the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the development's Cecconi Simone-designed presentation centre, which includes a model suite, as well as scale model of the first phase and a larger neighbourhood model showing all of The Ravine's planned phases as they relate to the surrounding community.

We will return soon with an in-depth look at the model suite located in The Ravine's presentation centre. For now, additional information and renderings for The Ravine can be found in our dataBase file for the project, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion?
