Last month we introduced First Avenue Properties’ new townhome development on Weston north of Lawrence called W Towns. The development consists of 48 units, ranging in size from 1,300 to 1,330 square feet, and coming in 3 and 3.5 bedroom models, divided into three separate blocks consisting of 16 units each.

The development’s design is by architect Patrick Markus Luckie of pml.A, who recently started his own firm after over 20 years of experience in the field. W Towns’ exterior features a dark brick finish, with white balcony floor plates and cornices serving as accents. Black garage doors and oversized flowerbeds at ground level help to add to this look.

Units at W Towns will all include 3 bathrooms, and two balconies per unit. Exterior features will include low maintenance vinyl windows, aluminum sliding patio doors, and exterior doors with satin nickel hardware. Inside, residents will find 9’ high main floor ceilings, kitchens featuring laminate counter tops, and an appliance package containing a self-clean oven, frost free refrigerator, built in dishwasher and exhaust hood fan over stove, ducted to exterior.

Bathrooms at W Towns will include white fixtures throughout, ceramic wall tiles installed in the tub enclosure, and a number of other features. For a full list of the features being offered, you can visit the W Towns website.

In place of the amenity space traditionally offered in a condominium development, residents will be able to enjoy the development’s landscaped grounds and green space. This will help keep maintenance costs low for residents without cutting into unit sizes. The nearby Weston Golf & Country Club and the several parks along the Humber River will offer plenty of additional outdoor enjoyment. Located a short distance from the Weston GO and UPX station, residents at W Towns will be in close proximity to multiple transit options. For those who commute via car, highways 401 and 400 are both only a few minutes drive from the development site.

W Towns will be launching this weekend (June 27 and 28), with an event held at the development's presentation centre at 2051 Weston Rd. Snacks and refreshments will be served, and units will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The units start at $399,900 with $5,000 due on signing and the balance of 5% due within 30 days and 5% on occupancy.
