The area surrounding Toronto's Jarvis and Dundas intersection has a number of new developments either planned or under construction that will dramatically alter the landscape in the near future. Much of this growth is driven by the intersection’s proximity to Ryerson University, currently one of the fastest growing educational institutions in Canada. With few residence spaces onsite, housing for Ryerson students remains in high demand, a demand just beginning to be met by new projects like CentreCourt Developments' Grid Condos.

The 47-storey Grid draws its name from the Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects design, which features snaking grid patterns on the building's east and west elevations. Rising to a height of 483 feet, Grid Condos will offer a mix of 528 one and two-bedroom units, ranging in size from 415 square feet up to 640 square feet.

The building offers student-friendly amenities including a 6,000 square-foot space on the second floor called "The Grid Learning Centre", a high-tech environment that will provide high-speed wireless internet, photocopiers, scanners, and other tools that will aid students in their studies.

In addition to The Grid Learning Centre, the project will also offer more traditional amenities including a lobby with 24 hour concierge, a party room, guest suites and a large gym facility, sizing in at over 3,000 square feet. The building will also include approximately 5,000 square feet of outdoor amenity space. Outfitting of all of the building's amenity spaces have been tasked to interior designers ESQAPE Design.
