The recently completed Delta Toronto hotel at the corner of Simcoe and Bremner is now open for business and taking in guests in Toronto's SouthCore area. The new hotel is connected to the expansive PATH system via an elevated bridge crossing above Simcoe Street, just south of the rail corridor. Designed by artists Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins and New York-based architect James Khamsi of FIRM a.d., called "Torque". In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Peter Crock, we are given a view of the bridge's interior, featuring an interesting pattern of triangles and polygons.
