The Entertainment District's skyline continues to grow as new additions pop up above the horizon. Soon to make its mark on the growing high-rise skyline is Lifetime DevelopmentsThe Bond, a 42-storey Core Architects-designed condominium tower on Adelaide Street just west of John. The building now stands seven storeys above Adelaide, and in the coming months we expect to see completion of the podium, and the more rapid construction of the repetitive tower floors above.

Black mullion framing and reflective curtain wall glazing are now being installed on the lower floors of the podium, as concrete forming continues up top. Five floors of the podium will feature commercial office space.

The Bond's is one of several developments helping to transform the Enterainment District into a very urban neighbourhood. Located across from neighbouring developments Pinnacle on Adelaide and Cinema Tower, and just a block or two from several more, the Entertainment District is losing some nightclubs while gaining restaurants, fast food locations, and coffee shops, and will soon also be gaining grocery stores and other day-to-day needs retailers.

Once construction of the development wraps up and residents of The Bond's 369 units replace construction workers, those residents will enjoy a selection of amenities appointed by Tomas Pearce Interior Design including a 7th floor "Urban Retreat" and 8th floor "Fitness Retreat", which will feature a games room, dining area and lounge, fitness studio, and outdoor pool.
