Efficient spaces and ease of maintenance are a couple of the factors that makes condominium living so attractive to many. For others, the lure of the big backyard, and many rooms to spread out across that houses offer, make some unsure that condo living is for them. To combat that reticence, some developers are offering amenities in their projects that now rival luxury resorts, giving residents indoor and outdoor spaces that allow them to unwind and entertain as they would in a well decked-out single-family home, with renderings of the spaces being an important factor in helping prospective buyers decide which building is right for them.

Veteran developer Tridel has released new images revealing the details of the amenity spaces being offered for the twin 35-storey Graziani + Corazza Architects-designed towers of the Avani and Avani2 development, part of the developer's master-planned Metrogate community near Kennedy Road and Highway 401. The images show off a range of indoor and outdoor common areas located in the third-level of the project's shared podium.

The third level 'Club Avani'—the layout of which is visible in the diagram above—will offer residents plenty of amenity spaces to choose from. Residents will be able to stay in shape using Club Avani's fitness centre, Yoga studio, and steam rooms.

When you're looking for more entertainment, Club Avani will feature a fireplace lounge, private dining room with fully equipped prep kitchen, a billiards lounge, and a theatre.

When you're looking to celebrate, Club Avani offers a large party room featuring plenty of seating, a bar area, and a large expanse of floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing residents to entertain large groups of guests in an area rich in natural light. Strategic lighting will bring the space alive at night.

The party room opens up to a large outdoor lounge and dining area overlooking Metrogate Park, the central green space built by Tridel to be the focal point of the master-planned community.

Serving as the communal backyard for residents of the two towers, this generous outdoor space features landscaped gardens with trees, flowers and shrubs, a barbecue area, and plenty of seating for lounging or al fresco dining.
