The redevelopment of Toronto's formerly industrial waterfront continues with Tridel and Hines' Aquavista at Bayside, a 12-storey waterfront development designed by New York City-based Arquitectonica. Aquavista will be built a block south of Queens Quay Boulevard and a couple blocks east of Sherbourne Street. In our last article covering Aquavista, we discussed the exterior design of the building, as well as some of the amenity spaces that will await residents of the development; today we return with a preview of the building's suites.

Aquavista's suites will feature engineered plank laminate floors throughout, 7” baseboards, and either 9' or 10' ceiling heights, which will be finished in a smooth white. Open concept kitchens feature granite or quartz work surfaces, built-in European appliances and linear cabinetry.

Bathrooms at Aquavista will come quartz countertops, 5' soaker tubs, frameless glass showers and custom designed vanities. Frameless mirrored and frosted glass sliding closet doors will be included throughout.

Suites at Aquavista will be connected to the internet via Beanfield Metroconnect, a private fibre optic network that will provide residents with some of the fastest internet speeds in Canada. Waterfront Toronto was recently honoured by the Intelligent Community Forum as their Intelligent Community of the Year for their commitment to providing their neighbourhoods with the ultra-fast internet.

Residents of the development will enjoy a wide range of both indoor and outdoor amenities that will add to the resort-style atmosphere of Aquavista. Construction of the development is currently targeted for completion in the Summer of 2018.
