Like many neighbourhoods across Downtown Toronto, the Church-Wellesley Village is seeing some major intensification. With property values rising, a handful of new condominium developments are now in various states of approval and marketing. One of these developments is 50 at Wellesley Station, a new high-rise condominium tower by developer Plaza, set to rise from Wellesley Street East, between Church and Yonge, and steps from the subway.

Designed by Quadrangle Architects, the development will reach a height of 37 storeys, rising from a 4-storey podium fronting onto Wellesley. 50 at Wellesley Station will add 365 condominium units to the Church-Wellesley Village, ranging in size between 462 square-feet and 1,283 square-feet. One, two and three bedroom models are being offered, providing space for everyone from singles to large families.

The development is to be built to the immediate west of Paul Kane Park, providing residents with a place to stretch their legs, walk the dog, or just enjoy some fresh air. For those wishing to stay on the property, a second floor amenity level will offer residents a yoga room, media room, and indoor and outdoor lounge areas.
