Toronto's South Core area remains a hotbed of construction activity, and the ongoing transformation of the area is now looking a lot less like an isolated island of high-rise towers, and more like an extension of our Downtown Core. Just over a decade ago, the area was primarily used for surface parking, and looked nothing like it does in today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Empty Quarter.
