Last month, we introduced our readers to The Daniels Corporation's Daniels Erin Mills, a new condominium community whose first phase is now under construction at the heart of the eponymous 'New Town' on Mississauga's west side. The eventual multi-tower master-planned community has begun to rise across Eglinton Avenue from the Erin Mills Town Centre—currently undergoing its own $100 million revitalization—and across Erin Mills Parkway from the Credit Valley Hospital. The first phase of the new development comes in the form of a 25-storey, Kirkor Architects Planners-designed tower containing 300 residential units, which range in size from 359 ft² to 871 ft² and start in price from $194,900.

A double-height lobby with a 24-hour concierge service will greet residents and visitors to Daniels Erin Mills. Residents will have access to a wide assortment of amenities on the fourth and fifth floors, called “CLUB 5ENSES”. This area will house a party room with a kitchen and dining space, plus an outdoor party room terrace. Next door is an indoor lounge featuring a big-screen TV and sofas, as well as a media nook.

Daniels Erin Mills will also offer another terrace with an outdoor yoga studio and barbecue area, as well as the popular community gardening plots found in several other Daniels developments throughout the region. Adjacent to the outdoor terrace, the development will house a two-storey multi-purpose gym featuring a fitness studio as well as a multi-purpose space for community activities. The gym will be equipped with a virtual fitness program called WELLBEATS™, which will allow residents to workout with a professional instructor remotely using a large screen projector.

There are a number of studio, one, one plus den, two and two plus den suite designs to choose from at Daniels Erin Mills, as well as a limited collection of urban townhomes. Suites come standard with 9' ceilings, laminate flooring, and kitchens which include stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops.

This new development is very close to home for the Daniels organization.
