The revitalization of the Erin Mills Town Centre shopping mall in Mississauga is no longer the only major construction project at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue West and Erin Mills Parkway, with construction now under way on The Daniels Corporation's new community, Daniels Erin Mills. The development is one of the largest master-planned communities being built in Mississauga today, one which will continue the evolution of this area with a mix of residential, commercial and rental spaces.

Designed by Kirkor Architects, the first phase of Daniels' Erin Mills will take the form of a 25-storey condominium tower containing 300 residential units and a selection of amenities, including a double-height lobby as well as an amenity area on the fourth and fifth floors called “CLUB 5ENSES”, which will feature a party room with a kitchenette and sectional harvest table dining space plus an outdoor terrace with al fresco dining, an outdoor yoga studio, and community gardening plots.

Amenity spaces at Erin Mills also include an indoor lounge with a big-screen TV, comfortable sofas, and a two-storey multi-purpose gym. Residents at Erin Mills will also have access to a virtual fitness program called WELLBEATS™, allowing residents to select a class to workout with a professional instructor from a large screen projector.

Starting from just $194,900, Daniels Erin Mills is offering a selection of studio, one, one plus den, two and two plus den suite designs, as well as a limited collection of urban town homes. Suites at Erin Mills include 9-foot ceiling heights, laminate flooring throughout, modern kitchens including stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, custom islands where applicable, and expansive windows to let in the natural light.

Construction is already moving along at Erin Mills, and the image below, captured from a quadcopter drone in late-August by Forum contributor Jasonzed, shows a fully excavated pit and the first crane up onsite, as well as the Erin Mills Town Centre located across the street.
