In the less than three years since the new Bombardier Toronto Rocket (TR) subway trains hit the rails on the TTC's Line 1, the new articulated trains now move most traffic on Line 1, while older T1 series trains continue to be transferred to the less congested Lines 2 & 4 (Bloor-Danforth and Sheppard). Today's Photo of the Day, showing a rare glimpse of a new TR train and an old T1 train sitting side by side, comes to us from Vik Pahwa via the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool.
