The Code Condos, it seems, has been the very definition of the right building in the right place at the right price. Introduced in March 2014 by BLVD Developments in partnership with Lifetime Developments, the Hariri Pontarini Architects-designed building has sold very well despite the having not a presentation centre, and not even having a glossy brochure. It has sold well enough that, we are told by Brian Brown, Principal at BLVD, that the developers have decided to commence construction of the 9-storey building in September.

That's good news for pretty much everybody. It's good for the people who have already purchased of course (a shorter wait time before moving in), it's good for the developers (who will not have to go to the expense of creating a presentation centre), it's good for the environment (no waste created for the temporary centre), and finally it's good for residents of the local area who had to put up with the failed retirement project that remained semi-completed on the site for years, as the handsome new Hariri Pontarini Architects-designed building will blot out memories of the previous eyesore sooner than later.

Before construction gets going in September, there is still a good selection of suites available in the project. New renderings of the project show how some of the building's interiors, designed by Tomas Pearce Interior Design, will shape up. Above, one rendering gives you an idea of the bright suite interiors, while below is The Code's lobby and its C-Lounge, ready for residents to relax and entertain in.
