It doesn't take much observational skill to notice that Toronto is in the midst of its largest growth spurt to date. Parking lots and low-rise buildings are being replaced with high-rise, high-density developments at a hurried pace, and thanks to the countless photographic contributers populating the UrbanToronto Forum, updates on these various projects keep rolling in. Today's Photo of the Day comes to us from Forum member Jasonzed, who captured this shot of the early stages of excavation at Tridel's Ten York from the roof of the Harbour Street parking garage. In the background, we can see the massive construction zone for the Harbour Plaza Residences and Sun Life Financial Tower at 1 York Street, an even larger development set to contain two residential towers, an office tower and a Target retail location.
