The notion that every metropolis never quite goes quiet at night holds very true in Toronto. This stunning photo, posted on the Forum's L Tower thread by tomms, illustrates how busy the downtown core remains at night. The view is looking north, with the skyscrapers of the financial district dominating the skyline. In the foreground appears the TD Canada Trust tower, with its distinctive TD logo glowing a neon green. In the background, the Scotiabank logo peers out from between the twin peaks of Brookfield Place. The L Tower dominates the right side of the photo while its crown is silhouetted against dramatic skies by the effect of lightning.
