Streetcar Developments is releasing a collection of 21 two-level, live/work townhouses at its new modern community infill project in the up-and-coming Leslieville neighbourhood.

Designed by Tact Architecture, The Carlaw is an L-shaped 12-storey residential building at a corner site at 345 Carlaw at Dundas Street East. The 4-storey townhomes component, indicated below in orange, runs north-south on the east side of the development. On their west face, the units look out onto a large central outdoor courtyard that anchors the complex.

Townhouse suites are available with 2 or 3 bedrooms and two distinct floor plans are available, in layouts of 975 sq. ft. or 1,215 sq. ft. over two floors. There is also a large three-storey unit at the south end. All suites have either their own terrace or outdoor patio with gas hookup, designed to offer a comforting degree of privacy.

Below is a recently released rendering of the townhouses, which will be clad in palette similar to that of the mid-rise building: brick with metal panel elements and a lighter-coloured metal cladding at the 4th floor penthouse level.

Townhouse interiors are by Toronto’s Seven Haus Design and feature nine- and ten-foot ceilings, contemporary kitchens with extended-height upper cabinets, laundry rooms and bathrooms complete with vanity-width mirrors with integrated back lighting, porcelain tile floors and walls, and soaker tubs. 

Townhouse buyers have access to the same amenities that residents of The Carlaw enjoy, including state-of-the-art fitness facility, security concierge, and a rooftop terrace. Prices start at $479,900. 

The launch takes place Saturday, June 15 from 12 – 5 pm at the Carlaw Presentation Centre at 43 Davies Avenue.
