Under construction just a couple blocks from the St. Lawrence Market is Post House Condos. The Wallman Architects-designed building is set to rise 21 storeys high between Adelaide and Richmond Streets on George Street. Next door to Toronto's First Post Office, the Post House will bring modern living to a heritage setting. Alterra Developments is the developer of this project.

Photos from Thursday show the latest progress at the construction site. The images above and below are taken facing southwest towards the development from a few storeys above, showing the site from the back. Form work here is bringing the back of the building up to street level.

At the front, Post House Condos have hit ground level: columns now appear where the future lobby will sit. As for the 278 condo units that will rise in the next year, suites will range from 481 to 885 square feet at a price of $319,990 to $565,990. Amenties for residents will include a game room, gym/sauna, party room, and a guest suite.
