It's easy to forget, when considering Toronto's skyline, that our downtown extends much deeper into the city than the wall of of towers along the lake would visually imply. There is a new and quickly-growing grouping of towers along Yonge and Bay streets between, Yorkville and the core, that are changing the face and height of that section of town. Today's photo comes from our flickr pool and was taken by awI61. Looking south towards the core, we can see one of the city's newest and tallest towers, Aura at College Park, making its mark at Yonge and Gerrard. Many more towers are on their way for this stretch, such as One Bloor East, Massey Tower and Five St. Joseph.
