University Avenue is seeing a rapid revitalization and intensification. Toronto's grand promenade leads north from the heart of Canada's financial sector to the seat of political power in Ontario. This photo taken by Forum member atlantis gives us a decent view looking northeast where University meets Dundas Street West, a corner that is rapidly changing. With projects like The Residences at the RCMI (seen rising in the centre of the photo) and the newly proposed redevelopment of Global House (on the northwest corner) into The Icon, we are seeing developers find increasingly creative ways of bringing new residential space to this highly prized location.
