SIX50 King West by Freed Developments has taken its place at the northeast corner (or literally, around the northeast corner) of King and Bathurst. The project's two towers, one of 10 storeys and the other 16 storeys, wrap around the building at 662 King Street West. SIX50 King West is Freed's latest addition to the midrise condo offerings in this area just west of downtown. The developer's other nearby projects include 500 Wellington West, 550 Wellington West and Thompson Hotel, and Seventy5 Portland

Residents have been moving into the Core Architects-designed complex since the winter, when the 10-storey building that fronts onto King was ready for occupancy. The taller tower, fronting onto Bathurst, began occupancy in the summer. It has been finished for a few weeks now, and Forum member urbandreamer has been busily uploading photos of SIX50 King West and of the finishing touches being put on the buildings.
