The AGO's designTALK series presents Tania Bortolotto, president and founder of Bortolotto Design Architect Inc. Bortolotto's presentation will be on The Architecture of Happiness and will investigate topics such as why architecture matters, the importance of design, culture and quality, nine ingredients for healthy architecture, and the role of education and how we can influence change. Bortolotto says her firm has a "focus on architecture that delivers us outside of the mundane, opens our minds and bodies to uplifting experiences, ritual performance and private contemplation."

Bortolotto has been involved in many familiar projects, such as the Fort York restoration and the University of Toronto's Rotman South. Examples of her firm's work are below.
