Today's Photo of the Day comes from Forum member Jack Landau (someMidTowner) who caught this image of Empire Communities' Fly Condos competing for space on Toronto's increasingly crowded downtown skyline. Located at 352 Front Street West on the site of a former parking lot (like so many developments in the city), Fly Condos' 24-storey tower is scheduled to be complete in 2013.
This photo captures much of the recent construction activity in the downtown core. Concord CityPlace's Puente de Luz bridge over the train tracks is in the foreground. Other residential developments still under construction are 300 Front Street West and the L Tower; recently completed towers in this shot include the Trump International Hotel and Tower and the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton.
