The much-anticipated Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences has officially announced their opening date as October 5, 2012. The tower topped off a while back, with work on the exterior cladding nearing completion. Designed by architectsAlliance, the tower has been developed by Menkes and Lifetime Developments.

The new Four Seasons replaces the dated tower the hotel formerly called home just down the street at Yorkville and Avenue Road. The hotel has been closed since the end of March, handing the building over to Camrost-Felcorp. The new building offers a plethora of upgrades for both residents and guests.

The past few years has seen extensive coverage of the Four Seasons here on UrbanToronto, being an extremely popular project amongst Forum members and readers alike. We've had the opportunity to tour the building in the past, providing a glimpse into a construction site in progress, as well as a chance to see the expansive citywide views afforded to those living and staying in the landmark building.
