We're re-visiting a project we featured back in November to provide an update on how the development is progressing: Concord Adex's Quartz condominiums, located in the CityPlace development. Designed by Raw Design, the site is being excavated at the moment, and is located on the western edge of Canoe Landing Park. Concord expects Quartz to be ready for occupancy by 2014.

Quartz will reach 41 storeys upon completion, sitting atop an elongated podium that will include resident amenities. The building takes advantage of its location next to the eight-acre park, with a long edge running parallel to the green space in order to maximize views.

Quartz will offer residents a variety of amenities, including an expansive roof deck, sleek indoor pool and theatre room. Interiors are designed by Figure 3, who drew inspiration from the multi-faceted quartz stone as reflected in the interior renderings.
