The gradual — well, not so gradual — replacement of clubs, parking lots and low-rise buildings within the Entertainment District continues with Lifetime Development's The Bond condominiums. Located on Adelaide Street just west of John, The Bond features designs by Core Architects, and is expected to be complete by 2015.

The tower will reach 40 storeys upon completion, with a total of 369 residential units. Interiors are designed by Tomas Pearce Interior Design Consulting Inc.. The project offers a variety of suites ranging from one bedroom up to three,  including a penthouse selection. Project renderings show some pretty impressive amenities — in particular the rooftop pool, sure to be a hit on what seems like Toronto's increasingly hot summer days.
