Streetcar Developments has just released photographs of model suite interiors for its latest condo development The Carnaby. As we reported last month, The Carnaby will be a 20-storey, 200-unit condo tower located at 11 Peel Avenue, right in the thick of trendy West Queen West. The building's exterior is designed by TACT Design, and today we get a first look at some of the interior suite designs by Seven Haus. Streetcar has enlisted Seven Haus before for the interiors of 8 Gladstone and The Carlaw.
The Carnaby offers one- and two-bedroom suites (some with dens), ranging from 457 to 885 square feet. Interior design touches include hardwood floors, quartz or granite countertops and under-mount sinks. There are some similarities in the design of these suites with Streetcar's other developments using Seven Haus, particularly in the bedroom suites. This is not surprising, as The Carnaby, Two Gladstone (recently completed) and 8 Gladstone were all conceived as components of a complete community.
The last bedroom shot appears to be the same as the model bedroom seen in the interior photos for 8 Gladstone, albeit from a different angle. The designs are contemporary and fit in well with the West Queen West vibe and Streetcar's other nearby developments, with high ceilings, flat surfaces and solid colours.
