Aura At College Park condos is going to be one massive tower. Coming in at 78 storeys it will soar high into the sky above Yonge and Gerrard. Today's Photo Of The Day, taken by UrbanToronto Forum member caltrane74, shows the beginning of first floors of the tower portion which will be condos. The podium will be retail.

One thing of interest is the red canopy that runs the length of Yonge Street. It is being installed temporarily to protect pedestrians on the street while construction continues above. It is expected that the retail in the base will open this year long before the tower above is completed. Here's a look at what is coming:
