oneeleven is the name for Harhay Developments and Carttera Private Equities 17-storey loft-style condominum building by at 111 Bathurst Street where it meets Adelaide West. The design by Charles Gane, lead architect for this project at Core, takes the Toronto glass box aesthetic and melds it with the brick warehouse vernacular of the King West area - and then it carves the facades to create a rhythm of voids and volumes punctuated by staccato balconies - all combining to create a modern building of considerable visual interest which still speaks the language of the area's past.

Interiors at the project are of the modern loft hard-edge/soft-touch combination: exposed concrete ceilings, pillars, and feature walls set off European kitchens, engineered hardwood floors, and soaker tubs in the bathroom. Windows are low-e floor-to-ceiling to flood the units with light.

Interiors are by II By IV Design Associates, who pull out the stops in the lobby with a "gemstone" wall of Black Tiger's Eye. It's opulence combines with an undulating oak wall and rough concrete to create a sought-after urban chic entrance to the building.
