UrbanToronto member Skyscan recently took his camera to the Aura construction site at Gerrard and Yonge, the landmark Graziani Corazza-designed 75-storey condominium being developed by Canderel Stoneridge, and found the site to be a hive of activity. Half a year after breaking ground, the deep pit has reached bottom and foundation works for the building are solidly underway.

With a little help from software, Skyscan has created these simulated tilt shift photos, a process that reduces the depth of field and leaves the subject looking like a model. Enjoy!
