Now halfway to its 40-storey final height, paint is being applied to the balconies at Cityscape and Dundee Realty's Clear Spirit condominiums at the Distillery District. UrbanToronto member Drum118 was on hand recently to capture just how good this growing building is now looking.

Designed by architectsAlliance, Clear Spirit is a simple point tower with a slightly skewed stance: the tower's balconies have outer edges which are angled and creased, with their more extended points flowing across the facades as the tower rises. We expect the creases to become more apparent once the balcony railings and glazing go up, and we are really looking forward to the visual movement they will bring to this otherwise solid object.

Drum188 took a number of other recent shots, and those can be seen near the current end of our Projects & Construction forum thread for this project. You can view them, and join in the discussion if you wish, by clicking on the link below in the dataBase box below. Click on the dataBase link itself, and you will be taken to a page with all the information you could want on the project, including several renderings of the finished tower, and a link to the official website.
