Doors Open 2011 resulted in many fine photos including today's Photo Of The Day. Taken by forum member steveve from the top of Canada Life, it shows the new Living Shangri-La Toronto as it rises at the corner of University and Adelaide.

A former parking lot that we don't miss is now being replaced by the 66 storey hotel and condos. Developed by Vancouver's Westbank Corp, it is designed by James Cheng and Hariri Pontarini Architects.

Looking very impressive is all we can say.
