The snow has gone now of course, but last week there was still some left on the ground when UrbanToronto toured the progress by The Daniels Corporation at Regent Park, including taking a look at One Park West. The 13-storey building designed by Core Architects is the last market condo component of Phase One at the huge revitalization project to the east side of Toronto's core. We have photographs, scale model shots, and renderings of the building and its context.
Towards the southeast corner, on Sackville Street
Same, but from farther south, with architectAlliance's Dundas-Sackville Tower for TCHC in front
Looking past the townhomes along Cole Street towards One Park West. The Daniels Corporation has mixed market value and subsidized housing here, and everything from one bedroom units to five bedroom units. From the outside, you would never know which type of housing you were looking at.

Model shots of the building.
The exterior renderings emphasize the park of course: across Sackville Street from the building will be the Park in Regent Park. Anyone looking east will enjoy protected views over the park forever.
Two views up high - first in the party room, then of the penthouse terrace.
Modern townhouses that make up part of the One Park West project: none of the Vic-shtick that plagues so many townhouse projects in Toronto. Cladding materials for the townhomes include brick, spandrel, and fibrous concrete: that's not stucco, not EIFS, not aluminum siding that you are seeing in the renderings below.
One Park West has been very popular and is just about sold out - 4 suites to go - as it closes in on completion, but you can still register here if you are interested in further information. Tell them we sent you!
