Trump Tower Toronto hotel and condos finally starts to impact the skyline. Here we see it dead centre in this Photo Of The Day taken by forum member Jasonzed. 

The 60 storey Talon International developed tower has about 12 floors to go. Add the extended rooftop and this will be the second tallest building in Canada next to the First Canadian Place (the big white tower directly to the right). The design is by Zeidler Partnership Architects, who over the years did everything from Ontario Place to the Eaton Centre. The lower portion of the tower will be occupied by the Trump Hotel with condos rising above. Believe it or not but the hotel portion is opening next month while construction is still occurring above. Someone certainly wants to see some money flowing back in.
