Tower E, the fifth and last tower at Absolute World Condos, Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen's standout Mississauga City Centre project, is about to top off. 56-storey Tower D, nicknamed Marilyn, had several months' head start, and has had the lion's share of the attention during the construction phase. What is now becoming evident is that D's 50-storey sibling, while slightly more demure, is still quite a looker, and will be an intrinsic to the success and growing fame of the complex.

The images above and below, all by UrbanToronto member Jasonzed, show the buildings from the northwest, an angle we have not seen often here. Tower E is now looking particularly lithe from this prospect, even before glazing of the building is finished, or balcony glazing has even started.

Meanwhile, this acute angle from the Huronatario-Burnhamthorpe intersection highlights the balcony glazing on Tower D, while giving us a peak at the podium... which looks pretty plain right now.

Here's what the podium will look like when finished. Without any frames having been applied yet, some UrbanToronto members aren't so sure this aspect of the project will work. Patience will hopefully be rewarded soon however: we're looking forward to seeing this component completed.

Finally, in case you have forgotten how much fun a mountain of snow can be, Jasonzed has not. How is this for a parking lot skyline?
