Today's Photo Of The Day takes us back to the late 1950's/early 1960's. Here's what the Toronto skyline looked like just 50 years ago.
Isn't it amazing how much the city has changed in that short period? There's hardly any tall buildings, there's grass by the lake and there's no Gardiner Expressway. Could anybody imagine that the circa 1960 skyline would someday look like this?
Toronto has obviously grown tremendously in the past five decades. It will be interesting to see how the growth continues to shape the skyline further in coming decades.
