We spent a bunch of time up in North York on the weekend and were able to check out some projects while on the highway. The one that most impressed us from afar was the nearly completed Legacy at Heron Hill. We're big fans of 1960's and 70's modern apartment buildings like Tower Hill Towers and Avoca Towers. Legacy gives us the same vibe.

The photo is now two months old but you get an idea of what it will look like completed. Monarch, BILD's 2010 Home Builder of the Year, is developing the three phase project featuring 38, 30 and 25 storey condo towers. The project was designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects. Here's the rendering for Legacy.

Legacy looks much nicer in person then in the rendering. What do you think?
