Work has begun on clearing the site for Tridel's new mixed-use Hullmark Centre. Located at the southeast corner of Yonge and Sheppard, the complex will feature retail and office space within the podium with two condo towers at 44 and 35 storeys topping the project. This Kirkor Architects designed project brings much needed mixed-use density above an intersection that has two subway lines below it. And we also love the fact that at 44 storeys, this tower will easily be the tallest building in North York City Centre (NYCC). Finally a tower that will pierce the current flattop skyline of NYCC. Here's a shot of the former strip mall as it is torn down.
